Kellen is a visual creative specializing in photography and videography. A Colorado State University alumnus and employee, he brings innovation and artistry to science communications. Working with CSU’s College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, he creates compelling visual narratives featuring students, researchers, veterinary professionals, animals, and more.

A film photography enthusiast, Kellen turned his passion into a business, launching KB Photo in 2025. Born and raised in Northern Colorado, he is a devoted CSU athletics supporter and an avid fan of Colorado professional sports. Kellen and his partner share two dogs and volunteer as fosters with the local pet rescue Until They’re Home.
